The Inaugural Western Highlands Governor’s Charity Ball — A Sold-Out Success
At Eagle Foundation, our mission is deeply rooted in the well-being of our community. In June 2025, that mission came to life through the successful hosting of the Inaugural Western Highlands Governor’s Charity Ball — a landmark event dedicated to strengthening healthcare services in the Western Highlands Province.
Held on 07 June 2025 at Signatures Epicure, Sir Mara Haus, Mt Hagen, the evening brought together business leaders, community members and generous partners for a purpose-driven and elegant black-tie event.
An Evening of Purpose and Unity
The Governor’s Ball was more than a prestigious gathering — it was a unified commitment to improving healthcare access for families across the Highlands. Through the extraordinary generosity of sponsors, table hosts, raffle contributors and auction participants, the event successfully raised K411,000 in support of Mount Hagen General Hospital.
2025 Beneficiary: Mount Hagen General Hospital Dental Ward
The funds raised were directed toward the purchase of three brand new dental chairs for the Hospital’s Dental Ward — a department critically in need of essential clinical equipment.
These investments have:
• Increased patient treatment capacity
• Reduced waiting times
• Improved surgical outcomes
• Strengthened infection control and patient safety
Oral health is foundational to overall well-being, and this contribution directly enhances the hospital’s ability to provide safe and effective care.
Why This Matters
Every Kina raised remained in Papua New Guinea and was directed toward measurable, accountable impact. The success of the Governor’s Ball demonstrated the power of partnership between the corporate sector, community leaders and philanthropic supporters.
Together, we proved that structured and transparent giving can create real, lasting change.
Looking Ahead
Building on the success of the 2025 Inaugural Charity Ball, Eagle Foundation continues its commitment to advancing healthcare and education initiatives across the Western Highlands.
We extend our sincere gratitude to all sponsors, supporters and attendees who made this milestone event possible.
